Ecclesiastes 3:1,11
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity
under the heavens."
He has made everything beautiful in its time...
Waiting is something most of us struggle with. We pray, we hope, and
wonder why things aren’t happening the way we think they should.
Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that there is a time for everything; good and
bad. Still, God has made everything beautiful for its own time.
When we are walking with Christ, we can have peace knowing that it
is not too late, we are not off course, and nothing is too far gone. Even
when life doesn’t look the way we expected, we can trust that we are
exactly where He wants us to be. What we see as delay or
uncertainty, God sees as timing. He is very intentional, so thoughtful,
and He is always good, in every season!
Psalm 27:13-14 says “I remain confident of this: I will see the
goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be
strong and take heart, and wait for the Lord.”
Waiting does not mean nothing is happening. It also doesn’t mean we should do nothing! It means remaining faithful, expectant, and obedient while God works.
As we continue this fast, I pray that we continue creating space to
trust God in a deeper way. Let’s do our part by seeking Him daily,
standing firm and unwavering; trusting that He is always on time!
