The book of Hosea contains a foreshadow of Communion. Over 700 years before the death and resurrection of Christ, God was revealing how His plan to redeem mankind back to Himself would play out.

When we blame everything on the enemy, what we are really doing is this - we're empowering a disempowered being. On the cross, Jesus disarmed all satan's weaponry, humiliated him, and now the enemy has no more authority and no more power unless...we believe that he does.
