ABOUT FROM SHOES TO HEELS ...
This is a small group created to unite young girls and young adult women; fostering a community rooted in discipleship, mentorship, transparency, and love.
Through this journey, we aim to empower each woman to walk confidently in the identity and purpose God has for her, to grow spiritually, and to support one another as sisters in Christ.
Our primary focus is to encourage inner healing through the teaching of God's Word.
ABOUT THE DIRECTORS ...
Barbara deJesus was born in the Dominican Republic and was raised in Cranston RI.
She has been attending Restoration Church for 13 years.She is the mother of 3 boys and grandmother of 3 beautiful children.
Barbara is happily married to Angel deJesus for 23 years.She has served in dance and drama ministries.
Marissa Araiza was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a proud mother of two sons and two daughters and has a five-year old grandson.
She has been attending Restoration Church of Rhode Island for 2 years. Marissa recently graduated the School of Preaching at RCRI and now serves in Kids Ministry and has also volunteered in youth ministry.
Her journey with Jesus began at the age of five, and her faith has been the cornerstone of her life ever since. Marissa is passionate about walking with Christ daily, striving to live a life filled with excellence and purpose.
