ABOUT FAITH BUILDERS ...

There are dozens of scriptures in both the Old and New Testament exhorting us to pray. One of these is 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 2nd Corinthians 10:4 says: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.” We know that one of these weapons is prayer because not only is it a command, but it is also a privilege and an honor to communicate with our Lord and Savior!

The purpose of this group is an in-depth study of prayer through the scriptures that will help you build up your faith so that you will have no doubt about God's word, His promises, or His power! You will learn how Jesus, the Apostles, and the New Testament saints prayed, why they prayed, and how they got their prayers answered.

We will also explore the relevance and power of prayer in our lives as believers today.

ABOUT THE DIRECTORS ...

Ray and Elda have been Christians for 35 years, served in many areas in the church over the years, and have been attending Restoration church for 3 years now. They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Ray is currently serving Rez Church as an usher and regularly attends Steadfast Men. He is also a graduate of the Restoration Church School Of Preaching, and a ten- year veteran of the US Army.

Elda has been saved for over 20 years and has also served in different ministries. She is currently active with Rez Latino, the A and children’s nursery ministries at Rez church. Last year she also graduated from TEN (The Eagles Network), a liturgical dance group. Elda loves to express her love of the Lord in praise and worship. She also loves to learn and teach the word of God.
